What can Vai see and read?

Vai uses context from the work you ask about and optional sources you choose during setup. The setup sources build the profile you review under Vai, then About Me.

Context from your Visualist workspace

When you ask Vai to summarize a message, check a thread, or report on a Hub, it reads the messages tied to that request. A Hub check can also include related action items and member context.

Visualist sends the relevant instructions and context to OpenAI to generate Vai’s response.

Optional sources during setup

You can skip any of these setup sources:

• Your website. When you submit a website, Visualist fetches its page content and a screenshot. The OpenAI analysis can use public web search to find verifiable information about you or your business. The search is part of this submitted-website analysis.
• Gmail. On your first Gmail connection, Visualist selects a bounded sample of sent threads and primary inbox messages. It filters bulk received mail, cleans the message text, and can include supported image and PDF attachments. Visualist sends that selected material to OpenAI to build the email part of your profile.
• Uploaded work samples. You can add image or PDF proposals, moodboards, and past deliverables. Visualist sends a bounded selection to OpenAI to build the work-sample part of your profile. Documents uploaded to OpenAI for this analysis are deleted there after the call. Your original onboarding upload stays in Visualist until you remove it.

Review or change what Vai learned

Open Vai, then select About Me to review the profile built from the available sources. You can open each profile card and edit the underlying details.

Disconnecting Google removes the connected credentials. Deleting an onboarding upload removes the stored file. Profile details already derived from either source stay in About Me, where you can review or edit them separately.
