How do I reuse a color palette in Canvas?
Saved palettes live in your library under the Palettes tab, and they are available inside Canvas. Open the Library panel, filter to Palettes, then drag the palette you want onto the canvas.
A palette is most useful when you can reuse it. Every palette you save is a file in your library, and your library is available inside Canvas, so the same colors follow you from one piece of work to the next.
Add a palette to a design
- Open a design in Canvas. Open the moodboard or lookbook you are working on.
- Open the Library panel. From the Library panel, filter to
Palettesto see your saved palettes. - Drag the palette onto the canvas. Drag the palette you want from the Library panel onto the canvas so the colors sit alongside your images.
Why keep palettes saved
Because a palette is a file, the same one can appear in any number of designs without being rebuilt. Save a palette per client or per project, and every deliverable stays on the same color story. Build the palette early, before the moodboards. Setting the colors first gives every design you make afterward a shared starting point.
