How do I share a moodboard with a client?

The short version

Open the moodboard in Canvas, open its tab menu, and switch on `Share to web`. Copy the public link from the confirmation or banner and send it to your client. They can open and comment without a Visualist account.

Share to web creates a public view your client can open and comment on without a Visualist account.

Share the moodboard

  1. Open the moodboard. Open the moodboard in Canvas that you want to share.
  2. Switch on sharing. Open the moodboard’s tab menu and switch on Share to web.
  3. Copy the link. Select Copy public link in the Shared to web confirmation or the banner above the Canvas.
  4. Send it. Send the copied link to your client.

What the client sees

The client opens a full-screen view of the moodboard in their browser. The public page contains the shared design. Comments on that public share return to the moodboard in Visualist.

Good to know

Moodboards use the same Canvas share pattern as other designs. Switch on Share to web from the moodboard’s tab menu, then copy the public link from the confirmation or banner.

Stopping access later

Open the moodboard’s tab menu and switch off Share to web. This removes the public link without deleting the moodboard.
