How do I edit an image with a text prompt?
Select the image in Canvas and open Fixer, then describe the change you want. Visualist creates a new image, saves it as a visible Library item, and identifies it there as AI-generated.
Fixer edits an image from a written description. Instead of masking or adjusting by hand, you tell Visualist what to change and it makes the edit for you.
Edit an image with Fixer
- Open the image in Canvas. Open the design or image you want to change in
Canvas. - Open Fixer. Select the image, then choose
Fixer. It opens inFocusmode with a prompt box. - Describe the change. Type what you want in plain words, for example “change the wall color to sage green” or “make it look like daytime.”
- Fix with Vai, then keep the result. Select
Fix with Vai. Visualist creates a new image with your change and saves it in theLibrary. Keep it, swap it into your design, or download it.
Fixer creates a new image, so your original stays untouched in the Library. The edited result appears there as a visible item. Open it and its file header identifies the source as Generated by. Fixer uses credits, which are included with every plan. Results can vary, so you can refine your prompt and run it again.
