The short version

Select a plan in Canvas and choose Render, then position the objects you want to include on top of it. Select Render again to generate a new image above the plan.

Render combines a plan with the objects you position on top of it, then generates a new image from that composition.

Turn an image into a render

  1. Open the image in Canvas. Open the plan, sketch, or reference you want to render in Canvas.
  2. Select the image. Click the image on the canvas so its tools appear in the toolbar.
  3. Choose Render. Pick Render from the toolbar to enter the composition flow.
  4. Position the objects. Place the objects you want to include on top of the plan.
  5. Create the render. Select Render to generate a new image above the plan.
Good to know

Render creates a new image, so the plan and the objects in your composition stay on the canvas. The tool uses AI credits, which are included with every plan.
