How do I pin a comment?
A comment lives in the Comments side sheet. To place it at an exact spot on a design or file, open the comment's menu and choose Pin as comment. The pinned comment sits at that point, and you can recolor it or attach it to an image. Choose Unpin to send it back to the side sheet.
Some feedback belongs at an exact spot, like a note on one corner of a layout. Pinning a comment places it right there, so the comment and the thing it is about stay together. You can do this anywhere you leave comments, on a design or on a file.
A comment vs a pinned comment
- A comment lives in the Comments side sheet as part of the feedback thread.
- A pinned comment has a position. It sits at the exact point you put it, and it can be attached to an image so it moves with that image.
Pin a comment
- Open the comment’s menu. Find the comment in the Comments side sheet and open its menu.
- Pin it. Choose
Pin as comment. The comment is pinned to a spot on the design or file. - Position and color it. Drag the pinned comment to where it belongs, and change its color from its menu to keep different kinds of notes apart.
