The short version

Ask Vai to draft a message from the client's workspace context, then review and edit it. Drafting is available on every plan; sending from Messages requires Core or Growth.

Vai can write a follow-up so you start from a draft instead of a blank box. It uses the client’s project context, so the draft reflects the work. This article covers drafting, editing, and sending.

Draft a follow-up

  1. Ask Vai to draft. Tell Vai what you need, for example “Draft a follow-up letting the client know the revisions are ready for review.”
  2. Review and edit. Read what Vai wrote and adjust the wording, tone, or any details before it goes out. The draft is a starting point, and you stay in control of the final text.
  3. Send it. On Core or Growth, send the message from Messages once you are happy with it. On Free or Starter, Try Core to compose opens the Core upgrade flow.
Tip

Tell Vai the tone you want, such as “keep it short and warm,” and it will match that in the draft.

Vai drafting is available on every plan. Composing and other email write actions in Visualist require Core or Growth. To learn the back-and-forth once the message is out, see How do I send and reply to a client?.
