What is Canvas?

Canvas is where the visual work happens in Visualist. It is an open canvas you fill with images, products, and color from your library, then arrange into a moodboard, a lookbook, or any design you want to present.

What you can do in Canvas

Canvas gives you one canvas and a toolbar of tools that act on whatever you select.

• Build from your library. Drag images and products straight onto the canvas, or paste from your clipboard. Everything you have saved is one drag away.
• Arrange freely. Move, resize, group, and reorder pieces. Use Tidy up to arrange a selection as a Row, Column, Organic layout, or Cluster.
• Clean up images. Select an image and choose Eraser, Fixer, Extender, Mixer, or Upscaler to work in Focus mode. Remove background, Render, and Generate with Vai have their own flows in Canvas.
• Present and share. Publish the canvas with Share to web, or download it as a PDF, PNG, or JPG.

The canvas and pages

You can work on a single open canvas or split a design across pages. Use New page to add a page, and switch between an infinite canvas and a paged layout from the toolbar.
