How do I duplicate and reuse work in Canvas?
The short version
Select an object and choose Duplicate, or duplicate a page from the film strip. You can also copy selected objects and paste them into another design.
Duplicate an object when you want another copy on the same Canvas. Duplicate a page when you want to reuse its layout within the current design.
Duplicate an object or page
- Select the object or page. Select an object on the Canvas, or find the page in the film strip.
- Duplicate the selection. Choose
Duplicatefrom the object’s context menu or the page controls. - Edit the copy. Move or edit the duplicated object or page while the original stays in place.
Reuse pieces across designs
Select the objects you want to reuse and choose Copy. Open the other design, then choose Paste. This carries selected images, text, and other objects into the destination design.
Tip
Duplicate a page to try another layout while keeping the original page available in the same design.
