How do I pin a Hub to the rail?
When you have more hubs than fit in the rail, open the `+N` hub picker to pin or unpin them. Up to five pinned hubs show directly in the rail, the picker stays searchable for the rest, and the hub you are using stays visible even when it is not pinned.
If you return to the same hubs often, keep them in the left rail so they are one click away. The rail shows up to five pinned hubs directly. When you have more hubs than fit there, the rest move into a searchable +N hub picker.
Pin a hub
- Open the
+Nhub picker when it appears. If you have more hubs than fit in the rail, use the+Ncontrol in the left rail to open the overflow list. - Find the hub you want. Scroll the list or use search to find the hub you want to pin.
- Pin it. Use the pin control next to the hub, and it moves into the left rail.
Unpin a hub
When the +N picker is available, open it again and use the pin control to remove a hub from the rail. Unpinning does not remove the hub from Visualist. It only changes which hubs stay visible in the rail.
What stays visible
If you have more than five hubs, the extras stay in the searchable picker. When you open one of those hubs, Visualist still keeps the active hub visible in the rail while you are working in it, even if it is not pinned.
Pinning changes your navigation only. It does not change the hub’s members, files, folders, or permissions.
