Deleting an item in Visualist moves it to your trash, where it stays for a limited time depending on your plan. You can undo a deletion right away or restore it later from the trash. After the retention period ends, the item is permanently deleted.
What you can do
- Delete hubs, folders, or files you no longer need
- Restore deleted items from the trash within your retention period: Free (7 days), Starter (30 days), Pro (6 months)
Why this feature is essential for you
- Personal stylists: Remove duplicate lookbooks or test folders you no longer need.
- Interior designers: Delete outdated file versions or sample hubs created for practice.
- Wedding & event planners: Clear out test runs, drafts, or incorrect folders so only accurate work remains.
Common questions
- If I delete a parent folder, what happens to its children? All sub-folders and files are deleted with it and can be restored together. If a child was deleted separately before the parent, it won’t be restored.
- Does deleting a hub affect billing? Yes—deleted hubs are not billed.
