How to archive items in Visualist?

Archiving lets you hide hubs, folders, or files from active view without permanently deleting them. Archived items (and their sub-items) are preserved until you choose to unarchive or delete them.

What we let you do

  • Archive hubs, folders, or files to clear your workspace
  • Unarchive items when you’re ready to use them again
  • Keep your billing fair—archived hubs are not charged

Why this feature is essential for you

  • Personal stylists: Hide old client hubs while focusing on current styling projects.
  • Interior designers: Archive large project folders until you need them again.
  • Wedding & event planners: Temporarily remove inactive event hubs from your account.

How it works

  • Select a hub, folder, or file → choose Archive.
  • The item disappears from active view but remains safe.
  • Unarchive anytime to bring it back.

Common questions / concerns

  • Can I delete an archived item? Yes — archived items can still be deleted.
  • What if children were deleted before I archived the parent? They won’t reappear when you unarchive.
