Visualist lets you bring your Google Drive files into your hub so everything you need — boards, palettes, notes, and documents — lives in one place.
What it lets you do
- Add Google Drive files directly to a hub using the file picker
- Select multiple files at once (from any folder in your Drive)
- Allow multiple collaborators to connect their own Drive files
- Keep project documents right where you’re working
Why this feature is essential
- Personal stylists: Add lookbooks, client budgets, or inspiration decks.
- Interior designers: Upload vendor quotes, schedules, or CAD exports.
- Wedding & event planners: Keep proposals, guest lists, and contracts at hand.
How it works
- Go to your hub and select Link Drive files.
- The Google Drive picker will open.
- Select one or more files (you can navigate into a folder and select multiple files at once).
- Your chosen files will appear instantly in your hub, ready to use.
Common questions
- Do Google Drive permissions stay the same? Yes. Only people with access in Drive can open a file, even if it’s linked in Visualist.
- Can I connect more than one file or folder? Yes. You can select as many files as you like, and you can always add more later. For folders, simply open the folder in the picker and bulk-select the files you want to bring in.
- Will new files I add to Drive automatically show up in Visualist? Not automatically. If you add new files to a Drive folder, you’ll need to open the picker again and select those new files. This preserves your privacy and keeps you in full control of what appears in your hub.
- Can I remove a file I’ve linked? Yes. You can unlink a file at any time, and it will disappear from the hub (but remain safe in Drive).
